Wood from certified forests

The origin of the wood is an element that affects the quality and value of the raw material and therefore of the product. Only from a sturdy and stable wood, grown in soils with a mild climate, do safety and healthiness characteristics derive over time. All the timber purchased comes only from areas subject to controlled reforestation, following innovative criteria and processes of eco-compatibility. Wood, if taken from certified forests, is in fact a renewable, inexhaustible and irreplaceable source in our ecosystem.

The wood

Eban researches and selects only the best essence, with the characteristics suited to its production method. The solid Ash wood (Fraxinum Excelsior) used has a minimum seasoning of 18 months which follows an important vaporization process and a drying cycle with alternating hot and cold ventilations that minimize the internal degree of humidity (less than 10%), all this to minimize the risk of movement and settlement.

The structures

The panels of our structures, in fir block board veneered in ash, come from Italian companies that produce strictly in Italy, to guarantee the origin and use of non-harmful substances and adhesives (no formaldehyde). Each structure is finished on the front edge with solid wood of the same essence. The assembly is then carried out by means of wooden dowels and thermo and water-resistant glues that guarantee its solidity over time.

The drawers

Birch plywood is the essence used for the internal structures of the drawers. With a view to technological development, Eban combines carpentry techniques with all those systems and mechanisms of opening and movement of the latest concept, which allow an easy use of space. To slide the drawers, retractable and fully extractable guides are used, with a cushioned return mechanism for closing.
To guarantee the originality of the product, the company logo in laser-engraved aluminum is present on the side rails of each drawer.

The doors and elements in solid wood

The doors are made one by one in ash, with meticulous attention to detail. In the interlocking phase, depending on the collection, the elements are joined with m / f processing and D4 vinyl gluing, or f / f milling with 45 ° cut with the insertion of the wooden core to minimize possible movements and curvatures, due to changes in humidity and temperature in the room.

100% Made in Eban

The completely internal production is the strength of the company. All Eban furnishings are built and finished entirely within the Recanati headquarter. We are proud to say production 100% Made in Eban. Solid wood and panels are processed with the help of cutting-edge machinery and with the manual skill of expert carpenters. The furniture is finished, painted and assembled through the skill and experience of highly specialized staff. Eban designs and creates each piece of furniture, follows its development step by step, controlling all the phases of the production and processing cycle, to guarantee constant quality

The assembly

The various elements that make up the cabinet are assembled and tested: drawers, doors, any movement and opening systems. With a view to technological development,
Eban combines the carpentry construction techniques with all those BLUM opening systems and mechanisms of the latest concept, which allow an easy use of space and better ergonomics in the bathroom environment.

Colors & Finishes

Since 2009, Eban, one of the first in Italy, has been using products and technologies that reduce the environmental impact associated with the application of paint on furniture. The paints, for finishes in essence or colored for lacquers, always open pore, are water-based, without the emission of harmful substances and bad smells. A latest generation transparent finish, S-Matt, is used for the shelves and washbasin bases, which guarantees a high degree of resistance to light, scratches, stains, giving a soft, anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint effect. All the products used make the furniture built in wood suitable and safe for its use in the home.

Packaging

Packaging, an apparently simple phase that “closes” the production cycle before delivery. Is actually a very delicate moment that requires special care and preparation, both for the choice of materials used in the packaging and for the need to protect perfectly the piece of furniture subject to transport. Air bubble polyethylene, adhesive tape, cardboard and cardboard corners, all 100% recyclable and disposable in separate collection, wrap each product, protecting it from the effects of possible collisions.

No to chipboard, no to formaldehyde

Since 2009, Eban, one of the first in Italy, has been using products and technologies that reduce the environmental impact associated with the application of paint on furniture. The paints, for finishes in essence or colored for lacquers, always open pore, are water-based, without the emission of harmful substances and bad smells. No to wood agglomerates also means no formaldehyde Formaldehyde is a substance in the form of volatile gas, present in some bonding resins and harmful to human health. Not all countries in the world have regulations that strictly govern the admissibility limits of this substance. Exceptions are Europe, the United States and Japan, which have established tolerance thresholds, respectively, more or less high. In the EBAN blockboard this substance is present to such a limited extent as to be well below any more severe limit threshold.
